As the 1st Runner-up at the 2009 Miss Teen Newfoundland &
Labrador Pageant, 16 year-old Sasha Best of Mount Pearl is
ready to take the world by storm.
In addition to her placing at the 2009 pageant, Sasha was also
the recipient of the Miss Teen NL 2009 Friendship award, as
voted on by her fellow contestants.
Sasha will be representing our province at the 2009 Miss Teen
Canada-World Pageant in Toronto, July 19th-25th, competing
amongst 60 contestants from coast to coast. She recently had a

Jaya Pham walked away from the 2010 Miss Teen Newfoundland
& Labrador Pageant as the People's Choice Award winner. She
was thrilled with the win as the announcement was made - but,
the follow-up announcement of the prize she had won, was truly
the most exciting part of all.
Jaya had won the right to represent Newfoundland & Labrador at
the 2010 Miss Teen Canada-World Pageant in Toronto - and her
supporters were prepared to back her up 110%!
On the national level, Jaya was the recipient of the Miss Teen
Canada-World People's Choice Award, as well, and earned herself
a spot in the pageant's top 20 semi-finalists - a first-time
placement for a NL delegate at this, the leading national teen
pageant in Canada.
Way to go, Jaya - we are so proud of you and your performance!
