On July 11, Ashley travelled to Toronto to represent our
province in the Miss World Canada Pageant, where Canada's
representative was chosen for Miss World (which takes place
in Poland next month).
Ashley has made our province proud on so many occasions -
when she was Miss Teen Newfoundland & Labrador and ever
since! No surprise to anyone who knows her, she placed 1st
runner-up in the national event!
She is currently in her third year at St. Thomas University,
majoring in Journalism and French. During the summer, she
works with the VOCM Road Show on weekends, travelling the
province attending numerous events and festivals. During the
week, she is a writer for The Express newspaper.
